Many on Substack are waking up to the complete lack of a virus and so will no longer have an excuse to drone on and on about the efficacy of vaccines, lockdowns or masks. Perhaps instead we could look into the;
millions of starving children crisis
the loneliness and obesity crises
mass torturing of animals for food and useless medical research crisis; over 80% of the 80 billion animals farmed for food are in ‘factories’, the number and size of which is still continuing to rise. In some states proven animal cruelty cannot be prosecuted as it will harm the industry.
Only a minority of consumers can afford pasture fed dead animals, though this is at the expense of thousands of wild animals and developing nations’ rain forests and indigenous peoples’ land
loss of biodiversity and hundreds of thousands of animal, insect and plant species going extinct crisis
environmental degradation, plastics, over fishing, pollution of air, soil and oceans (leading to loss of oxygen producing plankton) crises
energy provision crisis; the giant American oil industry has destroyed the gas pipeline to Europe from Russia and is dismissing solar power if it comes from China
and last, but by no means least, the whooping great human rights abuses against the most vulnerable people in society crises; in deep sea trawler fishing, stinking animal farming facilities, dead flesh packing factories and equal first with prostitution and porn in terms of being the most soul destroying job in the world; which is killing, stringing up by one leg and then slitting down the middle sentient beings. Workers can develop violent tendencies towards their partners and are standing in blood, guts, piss and shit all day, every day, on behalf of those more economically advantaged than they are.
Some who say they are awake are asleep to the fact that other animals exist in themselves, not for humans to use and abuse. They arrogantly think they know what to do; doing the opposite of what the WEF say. Mind you, many were completely wrong about what Yuval Noah Harai was saying, so maybe they’ve got the rest of it muddled up too.
The latest drive is to get us to eat more dead chickens. Even free range chickens (4 square metres each, not necessarily with daylight, kept in facilities with thousands of others) are vaccinated multiple times, in fact more so than caged birds because of bird ‘flu’. Vaccines are permitted and recommended for organic birds. You are eating vaccines people!
Is the plan to just keep reacting to the WEF? I’m not hearing any solutions as to how we can live more compassionately, fairly and, dare I say it, sustainably as an earth family? With each other and with every other animal. All of us together.
Not all of us are rich enough to buy our own land and grow our own. Where’s the debate on how to redistribute the wealth and power of colonialism and racism, to protect the vulnerable and to stop treating our fellow earthlings like commodities?

Very much appreciated the mention of the effect on the humans who work in the CAFO-industry. When I first went vegan and took my deep dive into everything related, the stories I read from former workers were soul crushing. Even for people who truly honestly don't give a crap about non-human animals, they seem utterly oblivious to the psychological damage done to the people who they are paying to do their killing for them. I feel like telling every non-vegan person to go do one single 8-hour shift in a slaughterhouse and then come back and tell me they think that whole thing is OK. and indeed, if you prefer stats to personal stories, the stats show unequivocably that there are higher rates of substance abuse and domestic violence among slaughterhouse workers.
I thought, when I went vegan 6.5 years ago, that it would get 'easier' with time, that I would become less upset, less bothered, less hurt by the anti-vegan pushback. Instead it seems to distress me more and more as the years go by, and on a purely personal level, I don't know how to stop that. I cannot stop caring about the issue, so if I care about it, how can I stop being upset? A conundrum. Thank you for continuing to speak the truth, for your courage and integrity.
Just about sums it up.....I couldn't agree more. Blessings from a 76 year old vegan who is very healthy and not one big pharma pill, although I do take supplements!
